Practical, Hands-On Leadership Experience

Hannah Figueroa, MBA and Co-Founder of 303 Vet Solutions
  • Founder

Like many in the veterinary profession, Hannah found a special bond with animals at an early age. For her, working with animals was the only career path she ever considered.

Driven by her passion, Hannah earned her Associate of Applied Science degree and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She found deep fulfillment in advocating for the pets under her care, helping them heal so they could continue providing unconditional love to their families. Over time, she advanced into a lead technician role, yet her desire to contribute at a higher level pushed her to pursue further education.

Hannah went on to earn her Master of Business Administration and transitioned into veterinary practice management, where she thrived. She discovered a true passion for complex problem solving, leveraging data analytics, and improving financial performance. After several years as a practice manager, she briefly served as a regional operations director, overseeing 18 hospitals. In this role, she especially enjoyed mentoring new practice managers in financial and operational performance, but ultimately chose to return to a practice management position where she felt most aligned with her goals.

It was there that Hannah met her future business partner, Dr. Todd Smith. Together, they recognized their shared commitment to purpose led leadership, combined with a drive for operational and medical excellence and successfully led a thriving veterinary practice. Their success fueled a larger vision: to help other veterinary teams achieve success of their own and overcome any obstacles they were facing. Out of this vision, 303VETSolutions was created—a consulting and relief support firm dedicated to empowering veterinary practices to reach their highest potential.

In her spare time, Hannah can be found enjoying the outdoors with her pets, Otso and Zika, pictured above, or gardening.

Todd Smith, DVM and Co-Founder of 303 Vet Solutions

  • Co-Founder

Todd grew up on a cattle and sheep farm in rural Louisiana, where early exposure to veterinarians sparked his passion for animal care and instilled the discipline that shaped his career path. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Following graduation, Todd spent five years at a combined primary care and referral hospital, where he developed a strong interest in advanced medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and surgery. He especially enjoyed mentoring newer veterinarians, managing complex medical cases, and building lasting relationships with clients. His passion for mentorship and comprehensive care continues to guide his work today.

In pursuit of new challenges, Todd relocated to Colorado, where he partnered with Hannah to revitalize a struggling hospital—transforming it into a thriving, profitable practice with a strong culture of collaboration and excellence. His leadership style blends clinical expertise with a deep commitment to team development, client communication, and high-quality medicine.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Todd enjoys exploring Colorado’s great outdoors with his three dogs—Harvey, Beignet, and E’clair—and spending time with his wife, Emily. He believes that staying active and connected to nature brings balance, energy, and enthusiasm to his professional life.
